This started out as a really long jam session with synplant and a ton of randomized lfos and midi generators. I then resampled a snippet from it, drenched it in fx, threw ableton's resonator on it, then slapped on a utility that makes resonator play chords, which were generated from splash pro's ai keyboard.

I recorded this at sunrise in a breeze with a digital recorder close the tubular bells of a large wind chime, about 4 to 5 feet, you can hear birds in the background, a squirrel was close by cracking nuts, minimal background noise. Request a loop if you want to use this for meditation.

I recorded the rain in brooklyn and wanted to make a blade runner kinda vibe for sleeping, there's a helicopter in there too, i threw in some low-frequency kinda whale/space ship noises.

This is a synthesized hi-hat groove. It is basically an on two layers sequenced noise-patch. One layer to create the "closed hat" effect and another one to create the "open hat" effect. This sound was the result of a scary accident. I was looking at the view in the webcam of an open doorway leading into a dark hallway in my house, when suddenly this haunting feedback faded in and looped repeatedly, until i pulled the volume down. It was unexpected, and quite unnerving. I had to laugh about it once i realized what had happened. But that first moment had me expecting some ghostly apparition to come in from the darkness. Anyhow, it's just an accidental feedback loop. I've had it in my archives for about 20 years now. I thought it might be useful to someone else. Enjoy!.

This is a short, dissonant loop made with a neapolitan mandolin. This has been recorded with an sm7b into a rme interface, and quantized to 148bpm in logic pro x. This is a dry file with no other processing. I used it on a couple of old-school hip-hop beats to trigger effects or completely butchering with distortion for some extra textures. I thought it might come in handy to rap producers out there! if you do something with it, i would love to check it out!. I was recording an acoustic version of a song called "closer" by my band dead rituals, and a friend let me borrow this old neapolitan mandolin. I made some random noises by picking behind the strings at the end of a take, and i decided to sample it!.

This sound was created by mistake and i thought it sound perfectly like a bad transmission from radio or spacestation. I´ve cut the audiofile so it is loopable. Just makes your ears hurt, doesn't it? could be great for something like a machine having a complete meltdown, or a robot going haywire. Created by taking a stock sound effect of guitar plugs being pulled and distorting, reversing, stretching, looping, adding phaser, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, i can't even remember what else, like there's no tomorrow. All done in wavepad. I also tried to make it loop, but it's up to you whether i succeeded or not.

This is the original 8-second drum loop that i ran through akaizer for my "sci-fi ambient drone" upload. It's creative commons cc0, so please treat it as public domain. You can use it in any commercial or non-commercial media for free, no restrictions. I took a quick 8-second drum loop from my teenage engineering po-33 (ko) and ran it through a free time-stretching/pitch-shifting program called akaizer. This program is based on old samplers like the akai s1000 that had extremely artifact-heavy time-stretching and pitch-shifting features. If you slow a sound down enough, the final product tends to sound harsh and electric. Akaizer turned my 8-second drum loop into 2 minutes and 38 seconds of harsh, bassy noise. As you can hear from my other uploads, the results are so different it's almost unrecognizable. Definitely worth trying yourself!.

I took a fairly drone-like-ambience, placed it in reaper's media explorer, and just had fun changing the loop size while recording the desktop.

In my vague times, i wonder what the sound of small pieces of wood in the middle of the vastness of the forest, the sound of the trees beating with their different leaves, pity that is just an illusion of my mind, a citizen of the big city where vehicles and crowds make everyday noise. The drum sound and cuica met was really cool to ambient music and sound effect with reduction and increase in volume.

Interesting.

This is a recording i made for one of my songs. I found it nice to run the group's output through the ohmforce ohmicide and have some fun with the separate bands. The original loop consists of me, drumming on my metal kitchen-sink with drum-brushes. The snary accents are the brushes on the back of my acoustic guitar. I recorded a thunderstorm with my samsung galaxy m20 out of my bathroom for 10 minutes. There is a corrugated plastic roof, which gives the rain a nice, but also a tinny sound. That's why highlighted the bass sounds and reduced the high noises for a better experiance. I also looped it, so it is 30 minutes long with fade-in and fade-out. Enjoy!.

I set up my recorder outside on christmas eve in 2016 and unwittingly captured the sound of this anonymous and apparently oblivious neighbor walking his dog and singing "it's the most wonderful time of the year" down my street. Pretty charming!. I've noticed recently how my zoom h4 has this nasty looping hum buried beneath the already disappointingly stubborn background noise whenever i do field recordings. Can somebody point me to a solution?.

I suppose you could say this is a bit science-fictiony. Kinda like background noise if you were alone in an abandoned space station or starship with the sound of machines and whatnot around you. And as an added bonus, it is a perfect loop. Recorded with a yescom pro studio condenser microphone using my own voice. Used audacity for editing.

Feedback loop involving jupiter storm, a-147-2vcdlfo and a-101-1 vactrol vcfcv injected from 2 x sloth and intellijel quadra expander in quadra moodsome spring reverb. After ~1min i switch "noise core disruptor" (jupiter storm) off.
